Scenario 8 of Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile wants you to build a coaster with a minimum 1000 feet in length within 72 hours. For three stars, you'll need a track of 1700 feet.
Design a Coaster
With only 78000 in coins, I know I don't have enough to build a roller coaster of 1700 feet, and it's a waste of time and money to sit there and build it again and again. Check this post for track lengths, but basically, you want a coaster with at least 16 loops. I did 17 for good measure. Save your coaster. As you can see from my screenshot, I needed nearly $150,000 coins to build this one, so I'm just saving it for now and will build when I have enough.
Build 10 Coffee Stands
Again, you can always go with pizza stands if you're going to be checking often enough, but I like that the coffee stands let me collect 750 coins from each every 90 minutes or so. This adds up to 7500 coins every time I collect. Add that with the hotel and ticket booth, and it should be a fairly easy 3-stars within a day or so.
Build your Coaster
Eventually, you'll save up the needed $150,000 coins needed, and you can hit the glorious build button. The downside is that it can take as much as 8 hours to complete building. At this point, I don't have the $18,000 coins required to complete scenario 8, so I'll just keep collecting on my coffee shops.
Complete Scenario 8 of RCT4M
At some point, the cost to build immediately and the amount of coins I had from my coffee shops met...I believe right around the $13,000 to complete immediately cost. As you can see, it took me just over 25 hours (including my own sleep time) to beat this one with 3 stars.

ReplyDeleteUse a large helix. Based upon your own measurements, a 360 helix is 118 feet. I used your coffee stand trick to generate money. But by actually using the incline and a bunch of helix pieces, it only took 125k to build and then 18k to fast finish.

DeleteI changed some of the coffee stands to hotdog burrito and burger stands and built a balloon stand and atm you can get upwards of 1,000+ from the others plus the atm helps its day 2 and I've got 97k coins already
