Step 1: Build 13 Pizza Stands
While ice cream stands are cheap, their max yield is way too low. I'd be on the game all day. I was looking for a solution that would let me check the game every so often and collect lots of coins. Since we need a pretty high excitement level for this scenario, I'm looking to make one attraction that will do the trick. In this case, I'm going for the haunted house. Unfortunately, it costs 95,000 coins and the game starts you with only 20,000.First, I built 13 pizza stands with the 20,000, which leaves you with a few thousand coins.
If you're collecting every 25 minutes or so, this should pickup a little over 9,000 in coins an hour, not including the pool hall, hotel, daycare, and ticket booth.
Step 2: Lose the Daycare and Pool Hall
From here, I actually ditched the daycare and pool hall, since they're generating almost nothing. The crucial key here is to try and collect at least once per hour, otherwise, you'll run out of time.At the end of about 10 hours into the scenario with this, I've already accumulated about 75,000 coins. After a full nights sleep, and a few more rounds of collecting, I had the required 95,000 coins.
Step 3: Build the Haunted House
The Haunted House takes about 15 hours to build, so start it, then keep collecting if you want to fast forward to the next scenario a bit. Once you hit the 33,000 coin mark, you can speed up the building process (and that drops as the building time winds down). FYI, I did attempt to move pizza stands around, but it didn't change much simply because of the volume of the park crowd.
In just a few short hours, I hit the 30,000 coins needed to build the Haunted House.
Step 4: Sell the Bumper Cars and Centrifuge
Notice my excitement level is still not at the 3-star mark. Simply sell the bumper cars and centrifuge attractions, and you'll instantly hit 3-stars. Mission accomplished.
Hope this tutorial is an excellent and easy way to beat Scenario 6 in Roller Coaster Tycoon 4! Let me know in the comments if you've found a better way to do it!

Hi, you say the ice cream stands are cheaper than pizza stands but they don't generate enough income, well why not buy them as ice cream stands and just click on food type on the bottom right corner and it gives you the option to change each stand to sell whatever food type you like, easy!
ReplyDeleteWow! Great idea! Going to give this a try. Thanks!
DeleteA dozen coffee stands work, too. I knew I wasn’t going to be able to check that frequently. So built those this morning, and collected the 750 x 12 several times today, so now before bed, just started the Haunted House.
DeleteActually, the pizza and ice cream stands cost the same because the ratio of the time over the earnings is appx. the same if you simplify it. I know, I know. I have too much time on my hands.
ReplyDeleteYep, figured that out too. Neat idea though with the ability to switch food types.
DeleteHow do i complete scenario 19 im really stuck
ReplyDeleteWhat I did was this: 10 ice cream stands by the front and turned thrm into each different one. I saved both the hotel & daycare because they helped a little & do nothing if you sell them. Finally got the haunted house. I sold the hotel & one other building after the house was done & got all 3 stars. Ended up taking up half the hours but it did it. Don't forget the entrance money.
